There are many services in the region which provide some family violence support.

 

Below are the details of specialist family violence services currently available.

An additional Men’s Behaviour Change programme is being developed at Colac Area Health.

Multilingual Resourcesfamily & friends cover

The Domestic Violence Resource Centre (DVRC) has the popular booklet 'Is someone you know being abused in a relationship? A guide for family and friends', in English, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Serbian, Vietnamese, Turkish, Somali and Spanish.

 

The booklet contains information on abuse in relationships, including definitions, warning signs, practical strategies for help and contact details for Victorian services. We can send a sample of up to 10 booklets free of charge.
